John R. Hopkins, Sr.

John R. Hopkins, Sr. age 81, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Monday, March 24, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty M. Hopkins; son, John R. Hopkins, Jr. both of Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Jack L. Hopkins of Roanoke Rapids, NC; sisters, Kay Mahaffey of Rockingham, NC; Shirley Tilley of Kannapolis, NC; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hopkins was born in Camden, SC. He retired from General Motors and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville.
