It is with great sadness and a profound sense of loss that we announce the call to glory of our dear Joyce Abiodun Sillah nee Fergusson, our dearest mom, sister, grand aunt, cousin and friend to all who knew her. Joyce passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2023. She is survived by her children: Sonia and Michael Sillah ;two sisters Agnes Adekunle Benjamin and Alberta Omotunde Rosenior; Nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Victor Ade Fergusson and Agnes Modupeh Fergusson, and sister Virtue Emelia Ayodele Barber and brother Samuel Ainor Fergusson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Chemodivas.org in honor of Joyce Abiodun Sillah. This will help continue her legacy and support the causes that were close to her heart.

In this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and condolences that have been expressed by so many. Your kind words and gestures provide us with comfort and strength during this period of grief.

Her warm, joyful demeanor and kind, nurturing, compassionate nature shined as a beacon of God’s love to her patients and coworkers. Our relationship continued beyond her retirement and I will miss her greatly, while at the same time I rejoice over her entrance into God’s eternal glory.
