Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Prayers for the family Joyce so glad I had the opportunity to have met you and interacted with you in my lifetime absolutely a pleasure

  2. My sincere sympathies to Joyce’s family. I first met Joyce in the 10th grade when I moved to Decatur, GA. She became a very dear friend to me. I feel privileged to have reconnected with her through the GHS group. I last saw Joyce at our 50th year reunion and so enjoyed sharing this memory with her. She will forever remain in my heart and in the memories I hold dear.

  3. Joyce was a wonderful sister in law, always loving and giving. One of the most generous persons I have known, she put others first without regard for herself, and set the standard for all of us mothers, wives and grandmas.
Joyce will be greatly missed and very fondly remembered.

  4. I am so sadden to learn of the passing of Joyce. She and I worked together at City Hall and I have so many fond memories of her. She was such a good person to everyone she met. She and John visited me back many years ago when I was in the hospital. They brought me a little pink bear which I still have and is still my little dog’s favorite toy. She plays with it every day and it always reminds me of Joyce and John. I am so sorry we lost contact over the past few years but she has always been in my thoughts. My prayers and thoughts are with John and Erin and other members of her family.

  5. CandleImageJohn, Erin, Margaret and Stephen – what a joy Joyce was. She brought light and laughter to our ladies social group. I always enjoyed being around her, joking about current state of affairs and the laughter that was so abundant and easily provoked. We will miss her terribly and our thoughts and prayers hope to comfort you and your families in the upcoming weeks and months.

  6. CandleImageI was so sorry to hear about Joyce’s passing. She was always a bright light with John during my daughter Erin’s middle and high school years. They always had a great time together. I hadn’t seen Joyce for about eight years. We had a great reunion at one of our daughters’ friend’s baby shower. Rest in peace, sweet lady.
