June Cothran June Cothran, 80, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 4th, 2018. June was born in New Jersey, to Oscar and Ragnhild who preceded her in death. She was valedictorian of her High School class and later in life returned to school and graduated Georgia State University with honors. She went on to work as a systems analyst until retirement. June was a loving Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was very close to her grandchildren who were the love of her life. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church while growing up and found her final home at Christ the King Lutheran in Atlanta where she was a faithful and active member. June is survived by her sons Christopher and John, their wives and 5 grandchildren, as well as her 3 sisters Anita, Eleanor and Eileen and 8 nieces and nephews. A memorial service followed by refreshments and fellowship will be held at Christ the King Lutheran, 5575 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners, Georgia 30092 on March 3rd at 3 PM, and at Holy Trinity Lutheran, Wildwood NJ on March 13th at 1PM.

  2. I’m in shock! I’ve called to check on June for the past few weeks. As I was addressing a card to her, decided to confirm her address and this notice appeared. I have lost a very good friend at work and in retirement. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend.

  3. So very sadden to hear of June’s passing. Will miss my friend dearly. She was so full of life and truly loved her family and friends.

  4. June was an amazing person and the world truly was a better place because of her presence. Her sweet spirit, kind gentle heart and ways knew no limits. She will be missed more than words can ever express but there is peace in my heart knowing heaven got a little brighter with her spirit!!

    My wife and I had the privilege to meet June in 2016, she seemed so energetic and full of life.
