Guestbook

  1. I am so very sorry for your loss. You have been the most wonderful people to have in our neighborhood. My children adored KP and he was always so nice to them and us. My daughter especially will miss him greatly. He called her “The Parrot” because she never refused to speak to him. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. We will miss him so much.

  2. I am very sorry for your loss. I will miss seeing KP and especially him running into my store and asking people to move there big trucks from his entrance 🙂 I was very lucky to get to know him and I will not forget how kind he was to me when my mother passed away. God bless your family.

  3. Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. You’ve been a cornerstone presence for the neighborhood growing with us all through the years and being there through every occasion, including ice storms! KP had a special sense of humor which we will miss very much. We offer our prayers to you and your family during this time which impacts an entire community.

  4. Nina and family:
I am so sorry for your loss and am wishing for you strength, and comfort during this difficult time. I am so glad that you were able to celebrate the recent festivities as family and am hoping that memory will comfort you during this time. You have been such an integral part of our neighborhood! You two are a part of our “NW Atlanta” family and KP will be dearly missed.
    Thinking of you.
    Cindy from Riverside.

  5. Nina & Family,
We are very sorry for your loss. You and KP are very much like family to all of us. We will miss him very much.
What I hope gives solace is the notion of the immortality of the soul. The soul never dies and while the body is discarded, the soul is here and always will be.

  6. Nina, I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. It was always great to come in your store and see KPs big smile with always something nice to say. He will surely be missed. Our prayers go out to you and your family that peace will be with you all. God bless I’ll see you soon. Dwayne

  7. My most sincere condolences got out to Nina and her family for such a huge loss. I considered KP as my buddy, he was always friendly, and I always looked forward to seeing him. He was always good about getting whatever kind of crazy beer I wanted or whatever request I had. Truely a great person that would do anything for anyone, he will be missed in so many ways.

  8. Nina and Family:

We are so shocked and distressed to learn of the passing of our good friend, KP. Our hearts go out to you all at this difficult time. May KP rest in peace.

  9. Dear Nina,

Kristen and I are very sorry for your loss. We were deeply saddened when we heard about KP. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. KP was a kind and extremely nice person, we will miss him.
    Kristen and Erika

  10. Nina,

My family and I were so upset to learn about KP. After several years in the neighborhood I was just feeling as though we were becoming friends with you both, and the news of KP’s passing has truly left a hole in our hearts. I loved coming into the store and spending time with KP . . . hearing about his travels, the kids’ weddings, and recently learning he had family in Vermont . . . my home state. It just won’t be the same without him in the community. I’ll be in to see you soon—as always, interested in your wine recommendations—but please know if there’s anything we can do to help during this tough time, we’re here for you. We’ll be thinking about and praying for you and your family.
