Kenny Lee Spiva, passed away on July 21, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, cherished memories, and a profound impact that will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was born on September 9, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia. He retired from Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation he retired and resided in Lawrenceville, Georgia with his wife, Sharon. Kenny lived life to the fullest, finding joy in the outdoors, small engine repair, and playing with his grandchildren.
Kenny is proceeded in death by his brother, Thomas “Larry” Spiva; father and mother, Thomas “Theo” and Margie “Irene” Spiva; nephews, Tommy and Brian Spiva. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Spiva; daughter, Melissa Cable and husband Matthew Cable; and grandchildren, Mason and McKinley Cable.
He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends. Though his physical presence may be gone, his spirit will live on in the countless lives that he touched. Kenny’s memory will continue to inspire us to live with love, compassion, and purpose.

  2. We knew Kenny for many years while our boys grew up playing ball at the park. We also loved our friendship with Melissa during that time. I was blessed with a continued relationship until very recently as Kenney worked on our equipment, and shared many updates about Melissa and stories about his children. He was a wonderful man.   4. CandleImageI was shocked to hear this. Unfortunately I had not been by to visit in a while. I have known Kenny more than 40 yrs. Kenny was a good friend of my brothers in their teenage years. Kenny came to our house many times. I am glad we lived close to each other as adults. Melissa and Brandon best friends growing up. I am praying for yall Sharon and Melissa.
