Our dear mother, Kerry Sheppard Trainor, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 in Social Circle, GA. She was born August 31st 1969 in Atlanta, GA to Perry Sheppard and Janet (Cochran) Sheppard. She was a 1987 graduate of Redan High School. She worked as the Vice President and dispatcher for Sheppard Trucking in hopes to carry on her “Deddy’s” legacy. Kerry truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with her family, going shopping, spoiling her pets and most importantly showering her children and grandchildren with endless amounts of love. She was a wonderful Mother, Hunna, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. To know Kerry was to love her. She is survived by her children, Austin and Rebekah Trainor, grandchild Wyatt Perry Trainor; Wade and Kaylan Trainor, grandchild, Lainey Nell Trainor. Her father, Perry David Sheppard, her siblings, David and Beth Sheppard, Lynne and Bill Cross, niece, Laura Cross, Terry and Michelle Sheppard, nephew Mitchell Sheppard. Family, friends, and others whose lives Kerry touched are invited to Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street Stone Mountain, GA 30083, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, on Friday, May 10th 2024 for the viewing and on Saturday, May 11th 2024, at 11:00 am – 1:45pm with service following immediately after at Zion Baptist Church, located at, 5270 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Stone Mountain, Ga 30083
