When I started 78 it was you good sgts. that took care of the babies… Thanks to you Charlie and your kind I became what you wanted..GOD’S speed.
I was 20 years old when I met Charlie Kessler. He worked the Morning Watch. He was one the elite that ever work for this department. He knew how to be a real protector and savior for everyone. He was true in every way that you can imagine a police officer was made to be. He was one of the great ones that me proud to be a Dekalb Police Officer. I can still name the all the ones who work with him today. They were the best.
