Larry Randall “Randy” Hopper, 66, of Lawrenceville, died peacefully at his home on September 10, 2023.  He was the son of the late Gurnie Randall and Nettie Sue Hopper. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Randall Jackson, his aunts and uncles, David and Elizabeth Little and Benny and Kathy Hopper, and by his nephews and niece and their families: Tony and Elizabeth Jackson and son James, Wesley Jackson, Cody Jackson, and Katie Jackson and son Wyatt.  He is also survived by his daughter Ashlee McCarthy and her family.

Randy was a standout athlete at Central Gwinnett High School and still holds records there today.    He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He had many friends he enjoyed spending time with as well.  He worked in the construction field most of his adult life. He could be counted on to be ready to watch any football game or talk sports with anyone.

The families are at their respective homes.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on his behalf to the charity of your choice.
