Sandy was born in Rugby, North Dakota and after serving 25 years in the Air Force he retired in Mountain Home. Both he and Bonnie loved the area and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and rock hounding. They also spent much of their time traveling around the United States and visited Sandy’s ancestral home in Norway. After Bonnie’s death Sandy moved to Georgia to be closer to his family but he always missed Idaho and the friends he had there, particularly at Faith Lutheran Church. Sandy lived a long and full life doing all the things he ever wanted to do and loved doing them with his family and friends.
