Guestbook

  1. My condolences to the Sipped Family for the loss of your mother, grandmother, relative. May you find comfort from the Scriptures at Acts 24:15 that says “there is going to be a resurrection” and John 5:28,29 that gives us a real hope of being reunited with our loved ones.

  2. I was in South Hill for two weeks in July 2013 and found the trail on the web and decided to exlorpe it.The trail is under construction but ride-able. I rode the trail 4 times while in town. I rode the section from LaCross east past Brodnax. I found the experience very nice and peaceful. The trail surface is not ready for skinny tires since there are sections that are still soft. It must be ridden with a wider tire bike like a mountain bike or a trail bike. I enjoyed the fact that it is largely un-used and un-discovered. I rode on this trail for 5 hours and only saw one other person on a bike. I am sure I only saw a dozen people total while riding. The two bridges east of Brodnax are nearly finished but look very nice. I cannot wait to see what they look like when finished.

  3. I recently bought a 1950 circa ashtray made, hand painted with Lessie Sippel name engraved on back edge. It is so beautiful that I had to research Ms Siplle. I found her to be a great lady that contributed much of her time to others. I am sure she made an impact with everyone who had the good fortune of crossing her lovely path. I regret not have known her, but the ashtray will ever remind me of the value of her. my deepest condolences.
