Lester Ray Croy, age 77, of Covington, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018. He is survived by children, Scott (Elaine) Croy, Covington, Tammy (David) Jones, Monroe, and Randy (Dee) Porter, Lilburn, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 19, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Stone Mountain Chapel of Wages and Sons with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. Burial will follow at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 19th from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your loved one. At times death seems to be an enigma. Should we just forget about death and concentrate on living? Should we allow the menacing presence of death to cosset our life? Must a grieving relative be forever left to ponder the whereabouts of a dead loved one? Life makes so many demands on our time and attention that we may push to the back of our minds the seemingly distant prospect of death until we must face it. But know this in the Bible at Revelation 21:3,4 it states ‘death will be no more’. That day you will be able to reunite with your loved ones. *a better time and place*
Loved this man, he was one of a kind, we had many good times together with our families back in our younger days..We talked only a few weeks ago, he will be missed!!
Scott and Tammy, he will be greatly missed by all. My God be with you at this time of sadness and comfort you. .
