Linda Marks Meaders, age 80 went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 8, 2018. Born in Stone Mountain, September 16, 1937. She was the daughter of Charles Quinton and Sara “Net” Marks. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Frank Weldon Meaders. Brother Douglas (Maxine) Marks, Sisters Gloria (Robert) Finley, Faye (Linton) Britt and Dixie Wilson. She is survived by her children, Randy (Melinda) Meaders, Sandy Meaders, Andy Meaders and Mandy (Kim) Bagley. Six grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was an active member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She was a faithful servant of the Lord. She retired from Gwinnett County School System after 20 years of service as a Cafeteria Dietician. She was very active member of the “water lilies” of the Mountain Park water aerobics. Her love of life was contagious and spilled over to everyone that she came in contact with. Her compassion, gentle spirit, love and devotion as a wife, Mother, grandmother and great grandmother always made our family feel united as one with joy and happiness. Visitation Tuesday, April 10th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Funeral to follow at 2:30 at Wages and Sons, Stone Mountain Chapel, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, GA. Interment services at Stone Mountain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church or Abbey Hospice Center, Social Circle, Georgia.

  10. Linda operated in all fruits of the spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, Goodness, Selfcontrol, Faithfulness. She will be dearly missed by all the Water Lilies. I am so thankful I can say that she is my forever pool pal, my forever friend.

  11. When losing someone we love it’s hard to carry on without them but act 25:15 helps us to appreciate that there will be a ressurection and soon we will be reunited with our loved ones again my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

  12. Sandy, so very sorry for the loss of your mother. I ran across a couple of pics of you and my brother Greg with her recently… Have recently lost my other brother, Jeff, as well as my father 14 years ago… so I can understand grief and it’s great struggles. Would love to hear from you sometime…
