The daughter of Cecil and Joanne Newman, Lisa was born and grew up in Atlanta Georgia. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville, GA.
Lisa retired after thirty-seven years with The Coca Cola Company and has been an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville.
She is preceded in death by her mother Joanne H Newman Johnson, her father Cecil Newman, stepfather Robert E. Johnson, brother Jeff Johnson and other very special aunts, uncles, grandparents. She is survived by Uncle Joe Hawkins, her two sons Brad and Jamie Murchison, and very much cherished grandson Doyle Murchison. Also survived by many and very much-loved friends, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers Lisa has asked for donations be made to The First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville, GA.
Due to the covid 19 pandemic the family has decided to postpone the service until it can be safe for all to attend. We will announce a service date and time as soon as it has been finalized.

So sorry for this loss…I have so many memories of her from growing up with her sons and being at her house …prayers and love for her family
Prayers go up for the family. Lisa was a special lady. I have a lot of good memories of her.
She was a huge part of Flavor Manufacturing for many years. I know she’s at peace now.

I only met her when she began bringing Joanne to our “Coca-Cola Ladies Luncheons” and immediately felt a close connection. She will be missed and remembered by family and friends till we all meet again in Heaven. Thank you, God, for the time you let her share with us.
