Lovie Ann Johnson, passed peacefully from this life the morning of August 23rd in the arms of her oldest daughter. Lovie was born in Chicago IL, but has been in Stone Mountain, GA since 1997 where she lived the remainder of her life.
Lovie is survived by her three children (and spouse), Rosalind Johnson, Samantha Beasley (Donald), and James Hall III. Four grandchildren, Quincy Vaughan, Douglas Johnson, Imani Beasley, and Noah Beasley. Lovie is also survived by her mother, Ella Mae Johnson, three brothers Clifton Williams, Terrance Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, one sister Jackie Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other living relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to James A. Hall college fund.

Lovie was loved by so many. I share in your loss but also in the honor of having had Lovie in my life – even if for a short few years. It was so much fun to share stories of her family whom she loved, dearly.
My condolences to the family. I hope you will find peace and joy in your memories of Lovie. She was appropriately named, and oh so sweet, always speaking so lovingly of her children, and all those that supported her. She is definitely a treasure to celebrate and remember.
