Luke Luke Kalarickal died unexpectedly in Santa Monica, California on August 17, 2020 at the age of 45.

Luke is survived by his parents, Cyriac and Alice of Kottayam, Kerala, INDIA; wife, Lenka; siblings, Philip, Hormis, John and Mary.

Luke was born on May 3, 1975 in Kerala, INDIA to Luke and Alice Kalarickal. He graduated from the University of North Carolina- Wilmington in 1999 with a degree in Communications. He has been with Lenka, the love of his life, since 2013. After moving to Los Angeles in 1999, Luke began working in the film industry with a focus on lighting and photography. During his career, he was highly regarded for his expertise and has been involved with many well-known television and film productions.

Luke was an accomplished photographer and many of us have seen great examples of his work. He was a generous and dedicated individual who loved family and who was passionate about changing the world. He was also an active and dedicated member of the St. Monica Parish in Santa Monica.

The family will receive friends on Friday August 28 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 EDT at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, and the Funeral service will follow at 10:00 am EDT, Friday, August 28, 2020 at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, Ga 30086. Father Mathew Elayadathamadam will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Luke’s life.
