  6. I first met Lynda Lord in 1976 when Stanley and I were GaDOT co-workers at the Avondale maintenance complex—Upon meeting Lynda, I immediately knew that she was a highly devoted mother and wife and enjoyed compliments on her family and on Stanley’s GaDOT career– She was so proud of Stanley’s exceptional efforts and success in his career and I enjoyed each opportunity of talking with her when she would occationally visit Stanley at Avondale–She was very bright, very polite and so easy to converse with.-Her love and admiration for Stanley was clearly evident—They were very blessed to have had 53 years of marriage and complimented by their precious children–Easily viewed as a family to admire by all who know them–May Jesus grant this dear family comfort, understanding and grace at this very difficult time–Buck Hartley–Tifton Georgia
