“Aaj di din bahut vadiya nikalya hai kal hor vi vadiya Hoega.”
“Today went great. Tomorrow will be even better.”

“Jo kuch honda hai changea liye hunda hai”
“Whatever happens, happens for good…”

We honor the memory of a beloved soul, Manjit Singh Gulri, who touched the lives of thousands across the globe. Born in Amritsar and later immigrating to America, he embarked on a journey not only for his children’s future but also to spread his warmth and compassion to all he encountered.

From the moment he set foot in America, our dad faced a multitude of challenges, obstacles, and the harsh reality of racism. But even in the face of adversity, he never allowed bitterness or hatred to consume his heart. Instead, he chose to love those who showed him hate. Dad’s resilience and determination were unmatched, and his unwavering belief in the power of love and understanding served as a guiding light for all who knew him.

Our beloved dad was the personification of selflessness. He had a heart overflowing with kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. No matter the circumstance, he would give anything he had to ensure the well-being and happiness of others. His acts of generosity knew no bounds, and his legacy is etched in the hearts of countless individuals whose lives he touched.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our entire circle of friends and family for their endless love, support, and countless meals nourishing our bodies and souls. Dad would have appreciated all the support we have received.

Today, as we bid farewell, we are reminded of the immense love and devotion he shared with Mom (Narinder Kaur Gulri) of 54 years, his two granddaughters (Nyah and Sofia), his daughter (Neelu Kaur), his son (Robby), his daughter-in-law (Abby) and his son-in-law (Phillip) and the countless family members who adored him. His love was a guiding force, a shining example of how to lead a life of compassion and selflessness.

Though he may no longer be physically present, his spirit and soul will forever dwell in our hearts. Dad’s joy and positivity radiated and spread throughout the room. He had an uncanny ability to find the good in every situation. Dad, you will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever remind us of the extraordinary impact one person can have on the world.

Rest in peace, dear dad, knowing your love and light will forever guide us.

Thank you for your love, support, and prayers through this difficult time.

He was a combination of his saintly father (our dear Mama Ji) and his worldy-wise mother (our dear Mami Ji)…
