My deepest sympathy to Marco’s family, friends, former students and colleagues. In 2011 – 2013, I had the privilege of sitting in a number of Marco’s classes at Georgia Perimeter College in Alpharetta and Dunwoody. My life was forever changed. In those semesters I learned more than I had in my previous lifetime about critical thinking, as well as Death & Dying and more. Marco was a gifted lecturer, humorous and always approachable as an instructor. It was evident he wanted his students to succeed, and he gave them every opportunity to do so. That included offering letters of recommendation. As a former student, knowing Marco has been one of the greatest gifts life has ever given me. We know from his experience with NDEs and SDEs he is out there in another form, and that is truly comforting. He will be deeply missed but his spirit will carry on.
