  1. says:

My heart is so broken now, as I write these words. Mary Elizabeth was one of my most dearest of friends and our friendship meant everything to me. Mary was my guiding force helping me with discernment and aligning herself with my thoughts and feelings when I didn’t feel heard by anyone else. Mary and I laughed together also of the time. Her sense of humor was incredible and I always knew we would end up laughing every time we talked. There are so many memories and moments that I will forever carry in my heart. Mary carried me through some dark events, and she never judged anything about me. It was an honor to have her in my life, she was one of the most authentic souls that I ever knew, her spirit was endless, and I will miss her everyday on Earth, but I know that one day I will rejoice when I meet her again for all eternity❤️ I love you Mary, Love Darby ( or as you called me (“Silly girl”)

  2. Mary Elizabeth was my sister-in-love for almost 50 years. We always enjoyed talking and laughing – and just being family. She is forever part of my heart.

  3. CandleImageYou were always smiling and you knew how to make others laugh. Haven’t seen you in awhile but will always remember your smile.

  4. This is just devastating news but M.E. (as we called her) left a lasting impression in the hearts of those she knew. I have so many fond memories of our time together at Chamberlin Edmonds and M.E. was sure to make you laugh. Praying for strength for Logan and the entire family, and trusting God to comfort you during this time.

  5. CandleImageI’m saddened to hear this news. ME was larger than life! She was always smiling! I have wonderful memories of working together at Chamberlin Edmonds! Rest In Peace dear friend you will greatly missed.

    • CandleImageI can still hear M.E. in the office next to me laughing and throwing herself into tears. Her presence filled the room and her smile was simply contagious. I’ll always remember her spirit, her love for advocating for others and the energy she gave to ehen she was with you.

  6. CandleImageI will always remember M.E. from “the CEA group” climbing Stone Mountain on Saturdays to her great sense of humor and contagious laughter. Heartful prayers to the family. M. E. will be greatly missed.
