Guestbook

  1. The residents and staff of Lanier Village Estates, Gainesville, express heartfelt condolences to Mary’s family at this time of loss. All of us loved Mary and we, too, will miss her. She was a part of our Lanier Village family. We appreciated her friendship and the love she expressed to us from her kind heart. She was a wonderful person to know.

  2. Katherine and Henry,
I have just learned of your Mom’s passing last year and am so sorry. Mary was a dear friend of ours for many years. It had been a while since we were last in touch…a result of time passing so quickly. I hope someone reache out to me with a phone number,so that I can get in touch with you. In the meantime, I will contact Lake Lanier Villages tomorrow.

    Peace be with you,
    Margo and John Foster

  3. Katherine and Henry
It had been quite awhile since I had been in touch with your mom.
She was a wonderful person, and she taught me so much. I was only 21 in 1982 when I met Mary , and she was 64. She coached the women’s tennis team at Kennesaw college and I was part of the team. We became friends from that pint on, and continued to play tennis, and get together for meals. Mary even spent some holidays with my family. I have moved around the country with my husband, and son. So I didn’t find out about Mary until 2017. I kept trying to contact her at the place she lived in Gainesville, and I wouldn’t get any answer. Finally called the office there, and they told me she had passed away.
I kept searching for an obituary, and never could find one until now.
I did speak to the pastor at the senior place when I found out she had passed, and he gave me your sister Catherine’s info in UT. I did send a card to her, but not sure it was ever received.
Your mother was such an amazing person, and I hope that I can be at least half the woman she was.
My heart goes out to your family.
    Sincerely, Lynda Baker Bryson
