Mary Shirley “Mimi” Priest, age 80, of Madison, GA passed away May 12, 2015. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was selfless and put others before herself. She loved her family dearly and was a devoted homemaker. She was an organist for 30 years and enjoyed gardening. She donated her liver for a transplant as well as other organs for medical research. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert “Bobby” Priest. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Unzell Priest. They were married on December 18, 1954. Also survived by her children, Judy Seese, Becky (Tom) Johnson, Beverly (Brent) Kiplinger, nine grandchildren, six great-granchildren, twin sister, Sharlet Welbron Haralson. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Wages and Sons Funeral Home Stone Mountain in the Chapel at 11:30 AM, with Rev. Hudson Moody and Rev. Wilburn Hill officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, May 15 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday prior to the service from 10:30 until the funeral hour. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens at 2:00 PM.

Jack and I are so very sad to hear about Shirley’s passing, she was such a sweet , sweet, lady and former neighbor with many wonderful memories of her , she will be missed by all of you and friends too . She was the lady anyone would be happy to call a friend and that she has been to us for many years . Please give your Dad and the others our sincere sympathy, I know your hearts are broken , but knowing she is with the Lord makes it a little easier , no more pain and sorrow . We will keep you all in our prayers and will see you all Friday night .
