Milton Clifford Huggins, Jr.

Milton Clifford Huggins Jr., 74, of Snellville, Georgia, passed away on August 6, 2023.

Milton was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 14, 1948, to his parents Milton Clifford Huggins, Sr. and Susie Mae Huggins (Sue).  He graduated from Gordon High School in 1966 and from Dekalb Area Technical School in 1968 with an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Technology.  He was married to Peggy Sue Huggins for 51 years, from July 4, 1969 to August 2020.  He was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the Navy from 1968 to 1972.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed coaching softball for his daughter.  He liked watching sporting events and his favorite teams were the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.  He worked as a foreman for Art Plumbing for over 40 years.

Milton is survived by his children, Martha Sue Hamilton (Marti) and Randall Scott Huggins (Randy), and their respective spouses, Allen Charles Hamilton and Michelle McAloon Huggins; his grandchildren, Austin Michael Hamilton, Zachary Scott Hamilton, Makayla Marie Hamilton, Makenzie May Hamilton, and his soon to be born grandson; his siblings, Debra Suzann Dance and Joseph Mark Huggins; his ex-wife, Peggy Sue Huggins; his life partner, Donna Belcher; and other family and friends.  Milton is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Sue Huggins; and his sister Mary Denise McBroom.

A memorial service for Milton will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
