Mister Balkaran

July 5, 1942 ~ December 11, 2021
Our beloved dad/grandpa/friend, Mister Balkaran, 79.5 years, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021. Mr. Balkaran was born in Guyana and was a citizen of the USA for over 38 years. He married his lovely wife Latchmin Paul in Guyana and was a successful entrepreneur and a true family man. Mr. Balkaran is survived by his four children, thirteen amazing grandchildren, and four special great-grandchildren.
He lived the way he wanted to. He was a true Ph.D., passionate, hopeful, and determined. He was a man of faith, peace, a force for good, a man of his words, values education, a philosopher, very independent, inspirational, respectful, fun-loving, very generous, loved to sing, and never met a stranger.
He was a great soul who lived a happy life and was mentally prepared for the inevitable. He gave us so much unconditional love, care, and respect. He will shine in each of our hearts and will be forever missed.
Dad/Grandpa, we may have lost you but your spirit and legacy live on forever!
The family respectfully requests all in-person attendees wear a protective mask and in lieu of flowers, please make contributions to https://www.diabetes.org/?form=Donate.
