  10. Dear Sylvia, Greg and Mitchell,

I was so sorry to hear of Morgan’s passing. I feel very fortunate to have come to know him during our time working with Cub Scouts. It is a time Austin and myself will always remember. His influence on Austin and all the other members of the den, including the other dads is immeasurable. He was a man I came to admire and respect as much as anyone I have ever known. The world is in great need of more men like Morgan, but they are in short supply. I know he loved you and the boys above all else. Even though he is no longer with you in the flesh, I know he lives in your hearts and you can feel his love every day.

I pray that the peace and comfort of God is with you during this time. Please know that you all are in my prayers and thoughts constantly.
    Love,
    Bruce Fowler

  11. Morgan was a trusted friend who supervised me in my early days as an upstart therapist (another way of saying green) I have cherished the wisdom he shared with me along with his warmth, his smile and his quick wit. He had a tremendous influence on me and my heart is heavy knowing that he is gone. God’s comfort and peace to you Sylvia, Greg and Mitchell

  12. Dearest Sylvia, Greg and Mitchell,

I am so saddened to just heard from Pat Wells of Morgan’s sudden passing. I can only imagine how heartbroken and devastated you must feel.. Sylvia, I remember you and Morgan as a wonderful couple, full of whit and generosity of spirit, with a powerful love for each other and your sons. My heart goes out full of love to hold you all gently, along with all your many family members and friends, as you grieve the painful physical absence of your beloved husband and the boys for their father.

It seems inevitable that one blessing Morgan left is his love that is surely encapsulated in every cell of your bodies, living on into infinity.

    Love,
    Barbara

  16. I am an old classmate of Morgan’s from St. Meinrad. I just heard yesterday of Morgan’s death. I was taken by surprise. My condolences to Sylvia and the family. He will be missed at our class reunions.

  17. I have been thinking of Morgan since I heard the news. The service was incredibly moving. Morgan meant so much to his family, friends, and community. His love for you and his sons came through in all the speakers who shared stories. I am so sorry for your loss.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
    Betsy Gard

  18. Sylvia and sons,
I just recently heard of David’s passing when his sister Patty called my mom. David and I were close in age and saw each other often when we were younger and the family would visit Aunt Fran and Uncle Morgan. I didn’t see him for several years until the passing of his sister Nancy and my family attended her wake and I finally got to meet you. I am so sorry for your loss…David was a wonderful person and he will be missed by many. Please accept the sympathy of his Aunt Annabelle Kyle and my husband Ray and myself.
