  19. I was a student of Mrs. Muck’s at Sandy Creek High School for a few years, having been in her regular and AP classes. I was also lucky to play on the women’s tennis team she coached. Mrs. Muck was one of my very favorite teachers. She had such a happy spirit and obvious love of life. I am so very saddened by the news of her illness and death. Heaven is lucky to have received a beautiful angel. Joe and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  22. I will always remember Mrs. Muck as the cute little lady that had brown curls down her back, multiple jumpsuits and the voice that was sweet and country.I think she had just graduated from college when she started teaching at Sandy Creek. She always had a way of making you feel better about yourself even though you had no idea what you were doing. Math was a hard subject for me and she was always so patient and kind. Her packed funeral was a strong indication that she made an impact on many. She will never be forgotten and I am praying for her family and friends. She will always be a Sandy Creek Patriot forever!

  23. I had the privilege of having Mrs. Muck as my math teacher during my senior year. She was a great teacher and a great woman filled with positive thoughts. She will truly be missed. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.

  25. Dear Coach Muck,

I found out about your wife’s passing this morning. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I remember how fondly you spoke of Mrs. Muck when I was in your class at McIntosh. You, your son, and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  26. Ms Muck was absolutely one of my 3 favorite teachers. Period. I had her for 2 years at Sandy Creek – both for pre-calc and calculus. We loved to mess with her Justin Trisler, Nate McDade, Josh Pell and I with the Sailor Joe T-shirts! but it was all done in a loving way. And a bunch of us made 5s on the AP Calc test b/c she was such a great teacher!

Ms. Muck was one of only 3 teachers that I invited to my graduation party, and one of only 2 teachers that I’ve emailed 10+ years afterwards, just to say thank you. Ms. Muck, you were loved and I cried upon hearing about your passing. Blessings on those left behind. Y’all are in my thoughts and prayers.
    Daniel

  27. Joe this Bunky Colvin at McIntosh. I just wanted you to know you are in my prayers. May God give you peace and strength at the time of loss. I can not properly put into words how sorry I am at your loss. Just know you are still loved by the McIntosh family and we hope you feel that love at this time of loss.

  28. Dear Joe,
I’m sorry for your loss. Even though I am 15 years removed from Sandy Creek, I still have vivid and warm memories of your wife. She made learning fun and instilled confidence in her students. She really did brighten up a room. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers,
    Brian
    SCHS class of 1998

  29. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Prayers go out to the Muck and Collins Family. I will always remember Ashley as a bright light in a dark room.

  30. Dearest Joe and Joseph,
Our deepest sympathy in your loss. Ashley was a wonderful lady. Kind, caring and smart. A great teacher at SCHS and tennis coach for Leane’. You are in our thoughts and prayers Joe. Fondest love, Andre’, Amor, Leane’ and Johan Kok.

  31. My sincere condolences to your family at this time of loss. There are a few things in life that hurt as badly as the loss of a loved one. But, it is at these times that we turn to the scriptures for comfort. Job asked: “If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? . . . You will call, and I myself shall answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning.”—Job 14:13-15. Job knew that God could & would resurrect him in due time. Likewise, with Ms. Muck. God will call and she will answer! Thanks.
