Nancy Koelliker Lamb , of Tucker, passed away peacefully at home on June 26,2014 .

She was born in Cleveland Ohio in 1925 ,the daughter of George and Ethel Koelliker .

Her husband of 52 years , John Sam Lamb , died in 2009 . They were members of St. Andrews

Presbyterian Church. With a Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University and a Master's

from Oglethorpe ; she taught in Dekalb county elementary schools for 23 years .

She is survived by three daughters ; Lynda Williams of Alcoa Tn. , Laura McKelvey and

husband Gary of Alpharetta , Lisa Murray and husband Marc of Marietta ; and three

grandchildren ,Terri and Robert Williams and April Haygood .

  1. I am sorry to learn of Nancy’s death. I lived across the street from her for many years. We were both busy teachers, and after retirement I moved from the neighborhood and lost touch. I remember Sam and Nancy as warm, welcoming neighbors. I hope a lot of fond memories are comforting to their family.
