Abby and family,
Although we’ve never met Mr. Norton we had heard what a great man he was and how much he loved fishing. We pray that you and your family find the strength and courage you need at this time of pain. Know that he will always be shining down and is now out of discomfort. Abby know if you need anything Jordan and I are here for you as well as your family.
Abby, we are so sorry for your loss. Your family is in our prayers.

My sincere condolences and sympathies to Phil’s family. He was such a wonderful guy and I miss talking with him on Facebook since we reconnected there a while back. We chatted and laughed long and hard about the time we went skiing together at the lake where our parents were camping and my bathing suit top broke!! I went down like a bullet before anyone could see what happened, thank goodness!! He just sat in the water and laughed!! I am so sorry for everyone’s loss. He was a very strong person and will be missed by so many! I would love to talk with Ola if she has a chance to talk with me. My father thought so highly of her and her husband.
Our sympathy to the entire family, especially including Ola, David and Sammy, our former neighbors and special friends. Our prayers are that God will make His presence felt in your life through the peace and comfort that only He can give. May you be encouraged by knowing that God understands your every need and is always with you. With our Love and Blessings, Estelle R. deJarnete & Jon Merritt

So sorry to hear about Phil. We re-connected on FB after so many years. Had a great time remembering good times at THS and talking about Nam. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
i fished with phil a few times and went thru a whole lot of hushppies with him afterwards.he was the kind of person that people looked forward to being around.i’ve got 3 cousins and a uncle that really thought the world of phil, and when he first got sick every time phils name was brought up sadness covered there faces.we gonna miss him
My deepest sympathy goes out to your family and loved ones. Phil was a pleasure to get to know on Facebook. I didn’t know him at THS because he had graduated by the time I came along. He loved the THS web site photo trip down Memory Lane and he enjoyed sharing his own photos with others so they could enjoy the ride. Phil was truly an inspiration and I’ll miss his friendship and sweet comments about Towers.
Barbra and Family, I was a friend of Phil’s as a child and throughout high school. We became re connected through facebook. Over the last two or three years we have shared some memories and pictures. Phil has been an inspiration to me in the graceful way he has handled his disease, his love for his family and friends and his spiritual testimony. I look forward to seeing him again one day. May God bless you as you grieve his loss.
My prayers are with each of you that God bless you with Peace that Passeth Understanding, that He remind you of the joy of each and every day of Phil’s life.
I did not know Phil well, but Morris and Ola mean the world to me. Me and mine wish you peace and comfort in your time of loss. Prayers and condolences to all who love and miss him.
A good Man, My prayers are with you. A GOOD Man
My husband, Bill, has such good memeories of Phil from the Towers High football days and I have really enjoyed getting to know him on Facebook. He was such an inspiration with his faith and his courage and thankfulness to God for his family and his being allowed to be here as long as he was after he got sick. He really touched me as he talked about his wife and how much he loved and appreciated her. His absence on facebook had already been noticed by me and he will be missed.
Dear Barbara, I was so sorry to hear about Phil today. Nancy let me know. I want you to know that our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family.
