Oney Paralee Norris (Fiddler) was born on October 18, 1924 in Parsons, Tn to Clarence and Ruby Fiddler  (Maxwell.) Ms. Norris graduated from Whitehave High School (Memphis, Tn) .  At the age of 17 she married William T. Norris, Jr. who was also 17.  Despite their young age the marriage lasted 71 years.  Mr. Norris was a military man to Ms. Norris traveled with him all over the world. Ms. Norris enjoyed the Red Hat Society, water aerobics, and was an accomplished seamstress.  Ms. Norris was a member of Rainbow Park Baptist Church.  She is survived by  sister Juanita Hern, daughter Linda Dillon, and sons Michael and Jeff Norris, 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 28, 2014, 10 am at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 4 pm until 6 pm on Thursday March 27, 2014 at Wages & Sons Funeral Home 1040 Main Street Stone Mountain, Ga  30086 770 469 9811

  2. We are so sorry about the loss of Oney. She was a special lady to us, and we loved both her and Bill. I’m sorry we weren’t able to see them much these past few years, but they were often on our minds and in our hearts. the PIONEER group from Rainbow Park will really miss Oney!
