Owen Guy Spurgeon, Jr. of Mansfield, OH passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Owen was preceded in death by Wife of 61 years, Jearlee (Butterbaugh) Spurgeon; Parents, Owen Guy Spurgeon, Sr. & Alda (Lodge) Spurgeon; 4 Brothers; 1 Sister. He is survived by Son & Daughter-in-law, Dana Jay & Deborah Spurgeon; Daughter & Son-in-law, Lorna Kay & Duane Wilmot; 4 Grandchildren, Drew Spurgeon, Deric Spuregon, Tyne Lyle & Kala Underwood; Great Grandchildren, Peyton, Emma, Tyce, Ian, Amelia, Eily, Eliana, Thea & Leyna. A Graveside service will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Gwinnett Memorial Park with Dana Spurgeon officiating.   11. I just now heard of Owen passing. I remember he taught me at church camp to always leave the area better than you found it. I can say he always did.
