Betty Sue Park, age 81 of Tucker, GA passed away May 28, 2013. Betty was born and raised in Stone Mountain until she married Charles Park and they were married for 55 years. She retired from Life of Georgia and DeKalb Board of Education and was a member of Tucker Methodist. She is survived by her husband, Charles Park, Tucker; daughter, Celeste Sears and her husband Dennis, Stone Mountain; sister, Joann Cason, Monroe; sister in law, Betty Jean Lanford, Marietta; grandchildren, Kyle Sears and Scott Sears, Atlanta; Katie Butler, Good Hope. Funeral Services will be held Friday May 31, 2013 at 11:00 am at Wages & Sons Chapel with Pastor Marty Cason and Rev. Caleb Clarke officiating. Burial Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel

Mrs. Park was an AMAZING woman. She was like a second mom to me, especially during my elementary school years. I will be forever grateful that she invited me to go with their family to Tucker First United Methodist Church so many years ago. I am so glad I was able to visit with Mrs. Park several weeks ago to tell her how she was instrumental in me giving my life to Christ at an early age. Her unconditional love for me is something I will always cherish.
~ I am blessed to have known Mrs. Park and I will continue to lift up her family and friends in prayer as I know she will be missed by many.
