First time I met my brother-in law Praful in April 1968 when I went to Mombasa. He was in 10th grade. Since then I saw him and his family many times. Recently I met him at his house during Sarita’s wedding on memorial day weekend of 2010. He was doing Bar-B-Q at his house for 12 guests and I was giving him company with my son Raj. I will never forget his smiling face and the way he made me laugh.
God bless his soul.
Susan and I were so sad to hear of Praful’s passing. We only meet him briefly, but knowing Sudhir as long as we have; any loss in the family affects us all.
Our most sincere condolences go out to all of you and hope that you can find comfort in having had him as a part of your lives.

The Family of Prafulchandra Valjibhai Patel.
My purpose in writing you is to leave you with a word of comfort in such a sorrowful time such as this. The Bible talks of a time when your lost loved one will have the hope of being resurrected. In the Bible, at John 5:28-29 it says `All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice Jesus Christ, and come out…’
It can be very difficult for others to understand exactly how you feel in such a time of grief, and sometimes it will feel that things will never be the same. There is a brochure entitled âWhen Someone You Love Diesâ which you will find very comforting. This brochure was never intended to make the pain go away; however, I personally believe that it can help to give you hope and understanding. The 5 sections in the brochure cover the following topics:
1. âIt Canât Be True!â
2. Is It Normal to Feel This Way?
3. How Can I Live With My Grief?
4. How Can Others Help?
5. A Sure Hope for the Dead
Not only does it show the Bible’s view of the condition of our lost loved ones and the hope of the resurrection, but it addresses the feelings that you’re going through and also what you can do to help others who have lost a loved one.
The next time you see any one of Jehovahâs Witnesses, ask him/her for a free copy of this brochure, which will be enthusiastically given to you. Again, we are sorry to hear of you loss and do hope you will find comfort in these few word.
