Patricia White Jones

Patricia White Jones of Snellville, GA entered into heaven’s rest at the age of 91 on September 21, 2022. One of seven children, ‘Pat’ was born to the late Charles R. and Myrtis White of Atlanta, GA. She was married to the love of her life, the late Bobby T. Jones, for sixty-seven years, residing in Stone Mountain, Cumming, and eventually Snellville, GA over her lifetime.

In her working years, Pat held various roles at the General Motors Fisher Body Plant in Atlanta and rose to the position of secretary to the plant manager. Following her retirement, she and her husband participated in scenic trips around the globe, loved participating in crafts and art fairs, and poured her love and time into her grandchildren. She and her husband were heavily involved in the Yaarab Shrine Center where Pat participated as a Shriner Devilette for a number of years.

Pat is survived by her sister, Elaine Crouch of Social Circle, GA, daughter Sheryl Eaton of Lithonia, GA, and her two sons; John Jones of Dacula, GA and Greg and daughter-in-law Allison Jones of Birmingham, AL. At the time of her passing, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren contributed to Pat’s many joys. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, GA with Pastor Jonathan Spencer officiating. Following the service, memory sharing along with food will be offered in their on-site Orchid Room. Interment will be held privately by the family at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA.

The family gratefully thanks the personal caregiving services of Karen Duran as a faithful servant to both Bobby and Pat in their later years. Additionally, the nursing staff of MeSun Health Services of Lawrenceville, GA is commended for their tender care, guidance, and support.
