Patrick Andrew Barr passed away Monday, September 19, 2016. Beloved son of Andrew Barr and Deborah Lightbourn McKellar. Father of Brandan and Tatiana Barr and beloved guardian to Hernan and Leonardo Piraquive. Former husband of Doraine P. Barr. Age 47 years, a native of Nassau, Bahamas, and resident of Long Beach, MS. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Patrick always made Perry and I feel welcome in his big home in Georgia and he was always inviting us to join him and his family to join them on family outings. He was a true survivor, especially after surving a car crash with his sports car. I remember him offering to get me to church on time in Athens in that same sports car, but I wimped out and took my own car. He left behind a beautiful family to be proud of, who loved him dearly and I know will miss him and will always remember him, as we will too. Sending condolences from afar to all his loved ones.
