Howard Peskoe of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on 01/5/2010 after an extended illness. He was at home surrounded by family and friends. Howard is survived by his wife of 43 years and soul mate forever, Mona; loving daughter, Bonnie Peskoe-Smith and her husband, Adam Smith; and the apple of his eye and granddaughter, Danielle Smith; sister-in-law, Harriet Bourne and her husband, Clyde Bourne; brother-in-law, Alan Stone and his wife, Carmen Stone. Howard is also survived by his "honorary" daughter, Dianne Kempton and extended family and friends. Howard was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Peskoe and sister-in-law, Judge Florence Peskoe. Howard was born on 09/20/1931 in Perth Amboy, NJ and raised in Rahway, NJ. He attended Bradley University in Peoria, IL and Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. He served as a staff sergeant in the U. S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He had a very eventful life in Las Vegas, NV for four years. Then he moved to Miami, FL, where he graduated from the University of Miami School of Radiologic Technology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He worked many years in this field, where he went from staff tech to Radiology Manager. After living in Lake Park, FL for 25 years, Howard and his wife moved to Georgia to be closer to family. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be sent to Compassionate Care Hospice at 4340 Georgetown Square, Suite 608, Atlanta, GA 30338. The family wishes to thank everyone at Compassionate Care Hospice for their wonderful care and family support during this difficult time.
