I’ve known Pete for over 10 years. We have been members of the “Einstein’s Bagel Club” on highway 120 in Lawrenceville since we met. We played many, many rounds of golf together and had many breakfasts, lunches and dinners together. He was a treasured friend who kept us all laughing and thinking since he was always posing questions and telling funny stories. Pete was loved by all who knew him and he will be missed by all his friends including me RIP, my friend.
The last time I was with this gentleman, the garage sales of their possessions were under way. Peter saw me coming down the street to greet them and he said “ I thought you were a teenager coming down the street “ he knew what made you feel wonderful. Thank you Pete, you were amazing. You will be missed, but remembered as one of the kindest Kokinda????
Uncle Pete will be missed. He had such spirit and energy. The following is part of a poem I read.
I’m Free, Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God had laid you see.
I took his hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love to work, or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close
of the day.
With Love and Sympathy, Donna & Tim Lastfogel
We will miss Pete dearly. He was the best of men, a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, and patriot. Love and prayers to you all.
