Deborah Anne Phelps was born on April 10, 1956 and passed away on July 29, 2010 after a courageous 10 year battle with breast cancer. Deborah was born in Laconia, NH to Earl and Pauline Cilley, and lived in Lawrenceville for the 17 years. She loved nothing more than her family, being a wife, mom and "mamre" to her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, William C. Phelps, III; sons, Travis Hutchins, William, IV, Kylie, Zachary Rebecca, Niegel; grandchildren, Makynna, William V, and Eva; brother, Arthur Florence and sister, Alice. She will be remembered for her love of family, being a generous and thoughtful neighbor and for the stubbornness that made her fight the fight and fully live until she passed. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 2 o'clock at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Brett Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 o'clock until 2 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Embracing Hospice, 3180 Presidential Drive, Ste 3, Atlanta, GA 30340 or The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 530109, Dept. G00125, Atlanta, GA
