JEREMY JAY PHILLIPS, only 24 years old - A loving person with a very tender heart. Survived by his parents, Beverly and Tim Phillips; his brother, Daniel; and his sister, Christina. The family will have "A Celebration of Jeremy's Life", on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service is Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 5:00pm. Both events are being held at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046, 770-277-4550. In Lieu of flowers we are requesting that donations be made to Georgia SPCA Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at www.georgiaspca.org or www.imalive.org, an online crisis network to help in the prevention of suicide. I worked with Jeremy at the GASPCA and I always enjoyed talking with him. He was a very dear and gentle soul. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

I met and worked with Jeremy while volunteering at the Georgia SPCA. His love of animals was exceptional in the gentle way he cared for them. He had a calming effect when he spoke. I am deeply sorry for his family and those whose life he touched. Although he is gone he will always be near as long as we keep him alive in our hearts. His spirit is free, may his soul rest in peace.

I met Jeremy while volunteering at the Georgia S P C A. He was always very gentle with the animals and was a very nice person.

I was upset to hear of Jeremy’s passing. I worked with him before I transfered to a different Publix. He was one of the smartest, nicest people I’d ever met, and I regret that I didn’t know him better.
I just heard the news of Jeremy’s death this evening and I am heartbroken. He was such a lovely young man and I thought the world of him. I first met him at the shelter and later enjoyed seeing him at Publix. I pray for whatever peace is possible for his family and that Jeremy’s
sweet, loving soul is at rest. I truly mourn with you.
