Celia S. Porterfield , age 91, of Lawrenceville , GA , passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. She is survived by her:Sons and Daughter in law: Bill and Colleen Porterfield of Denver, CO, John and Wanda Porterfield of Lawrenceville, GA;Daughter: Leigh Porterfield-Cole of Lawrenceville, GA; Grandchildren: Tracy, Whitney, Lauren, Derek, Brett, Greatgrandchildren: Emma, Jackson, Ella, Justice, Nieces: Dawn Kocher Taylor of Kittaning, PA, Birdie Clifford of Butler, PA, Nephew: Jim Porterfield of Pittsburgh, PA, Cousin: Robert Lowe of Mansfield, England, She served during WWII as a WREN station at Bletchley Park, England. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 27, from 3-5 p.m. at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceeville Highway, Lawrencville, Ga 30045. 770-277-4550. Mrs. Porterfield will be cremated and her remains buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
