I have very fond memories of JW. He was a neighbor for many years. Derek and Lynn grew up with little John and
Carolyn. My prayers are with you and just know JW is in a better place. Thanks for all the memories!
J.W. was a very special person. He touched our lives in so many different ways. He was the neighbor and friend that you would always dream of having & we were blessed to have him in both relationships. We could talk for hours & the time would evaporate–he was such a smart & talented gentleman who could keep you entertained with his wealth of knowledge. He was a man who loved unconditionally. He was blessed to have a family who loved & cared for him. In talking with him at the nursing care facility with Clyde by his side, he stated that he was ready to go home to Heaven if God would have him. God opened the doors to Heaven and welcomed him in today. May God bless you for being J.W.’s greatest
love on earth–each of you he pondered in his heart; he always talked lovingly about his children. Our deepest sympathy we extend to you–Howard & Brenda Bodkin

Wayne and I send our condolences to the family. Bo and Brenda are dear friends.
To the Pounds Family: My sincere sympathy in the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in the Scriptures at James 4:8, “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.
I was so sorry to learn that J.W. had passed away. My mother, Ila Mae Bearden, and I visited Clyde and J.W. often in their home. It was always a great visit with very special people. J.W. had great stories to tell and shared wonderful memories. May you all feel God’s comforting arms wrapped around you. God bless you.
