Quincy Rigdon, age 88, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017. He is preceded by his first wife, Mary B. Rigdon. He is survived by wife, Betty Rigdon; daughter, Virginia Dare Domino; son, Ronald Q. Rigdon and wife, Debbie; step daughter, Jeanne Stovall and husband, Dr. Ray Stovall; step son, Russell White and wife, Sara; step son-in-law, Rick Briggs; 6 grandchildren, Melissa Hargrove and husband, Matt, Mary Mays, Pamela Rigdon, Hailey Burns, Zack Stovall, Laney Hales, Eric Briggs, Rusty White and John White and 19 great grandchildren: three sisters: Betty Howard, Audrey Tanner and Mary Ann Corbin. Quincy was born and raised in Alma, GA and has resided in Lawrenceville since 1946. He was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Lawrenceville and was the owner and operator of Dixie Die Company for over 20 years. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing and golf. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Rev. Inman Houston and Rev. Lamar Holley officiating. Interment will follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel.
