Rakesh Shanti Mathur, 87, of Banasthali Vidya Peeth, Rajasthan, India passed away on March 13, 2024. Rakesh Shanti, lovingly called Nani, was born in Kurabad, Udaipur on December 12th, 1936.
Rakesh Shanti persevered in her career by becoming Professor of Economics at Government College of Ajmer, University of Rajasthan. She broke the record of 150 years by being the First Lady Principal of the College.
She married Late Jagdish Narain Mathur on May 22, 1958. She is survived by her three daughters, three son-in-laws, six grandchildren, two grandson-in-laws, and four great grandchildren.
