Mr. Bangalore passed away on January 23, 2023 at the age of 92 years at his home in Atlanta GA.

Mr. Bangalore, also known as “Ramu” to his large family and friends was born in Bangalore, India. While growing up in India, Mr. Bangalore lived with his father Mr. Bangalore Venkataramaiah, mother Sharadamma, four brothers and a sister. At an early age, Mr. Bangalore was very fond of Cricket and took considerable interests in playing the game with his friends and neighbors. During his school and college days, Mr. Bangalore was an accomplished cricketer and represented his college in several cricket tournaments for which he was a team captain. Mr. Bangalore played cricket professionally and represented his state (Karnataka, India) inter-state Ranji Trophy tournaments as a captain. After his cricket playing days came to an end, Mr. Bangalore was employed in Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, Bhopal and spent majority of his professional career working for Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited, Bangalore.

In 2017, Mr. Bangalore relocated to Atlanta GA permanently with his wife and lived with his daughter until his passing. Mr. Bangalore was very fond of visiting various shops, restaurants and sites around Atlanta metro area with his family. Mr. Bangalore is survived by his wife, daughter, son-in-law, younger brother, extended family of nephews and nieces. Mr. Bangalore was very kind, gentle and extremely fond of his family and friends.
