Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. What a great friend she was. I have missed her friendship these last few years because of her illness. RIP MY DEAR FRIEND

  2. I am very sorry for the passing of Rebecca. I look forward to the time when we will be reunited with our loved ones again and Isaiah 25:8 is fulfilled: “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.”

  3. Rebecca was a very special person! I was her youth pastor in the summer of 1974 at First Alliance Church in Atlanta, and we had many great times with that youth group including a wild and crazy trip to Lake Swan Camp in Florida. So many great memories. She loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and maintained a great attitude throughout a difficult life. We will see you on the other side, Rebecca! I know you are rejoicing now in His presence.

  4. Rebecca, my sweet friend. You will always be in my heart. When you & Kelly lived with me, yall took care of my cocker spaniel, Samantha, when I was out of tiwn on business. You always said you didn’t like dogs but you loved Sammy & she loved you! I know you’re in a better place & no longer suffering. Love, Pat

  5. Rebecca was a pleasure to work with at the Salvation Army. We enjoyed laughs and lunch many days. So glad she now has peace.

  6. RIP Rebecca. It has been a long time since Lakeside High School. Lots of memories from our younger days. Glad that our paths crossed again on Facebook. My thoughts and prayers are with your family ????

  7. Rebecca was one of a kind, She never met a stranger and always made you feel welcome. She will be mised.

  8. I was unable to attend the service for Rebecca, so I missed the celebration of her life, the worship of our Savior, expressions of sympathy and reuniting with our beloved family in Christ. Rebecca was one of the Pioneer girls at First Alliance I got to know and love. I got to know her better and love her even more over the years. Sweet memories. Forever family. We’ll certainly meet again.

  9. Rebecca was a wonderful person with a great heart full of love for family and friends, and kindness for everyone. She was warm, smart and funny. A privilege to know!

  10. I am so glad that I was able to attend the memorial service for a Rebecca. It was a blessing to hear her family and friends share the love and generosity that Rebecca extended to those she came in contact with. I considered her a wonderful friend and she was a blessing and encouragement through the years. I will miss you Rebecca but am grateful that you are whole and well and rejoicing with Jesus.

  11. I’ve known Rebecca since the 90’s. We were in a class together at LAC. I got to know her better on Facebook. She showed her funny side. And her knowledge of Words and spelling. But then I had the priviledge of having her in my home for 7 months while she was recuperating from one of her illnesses. She was a joy to have here. Her sister came too to help her. Mary Jane, you have been a wonderful sister to Rebecca. I know you will miss her very much. Love and prayers for you and your family.

  12. The service was a wonderful tribute from family and friends. She was wonderful with our boys when she took care of them in the church nursery. All babies and kids loved her. Rebecca was well loved by us adults too! Her infectious personality and smiles will be missed. Heaven is rejoicing at her arrival!

  13. Rebecca was an amazing lady. I was blessed to be her youth pastor while at FAC. 77-82. We stayed in contact and she had a remarkable gift of staying in touch. So glad you are home with The Father. We love you. Bobby and Joanie Galasso

  14. She was briefly my roommate her senior year at TFC, my first semester there. Her lovely heart helped ease my tough first semester. RIP, “Moo-rie.”

  15. Sorry to hear of Rebecca’s home .going. We ,were friends at TFC her Jr. and Sr. years. She had a great sense of humor and could play some really good pranks, She also had a pet when spider got trapped in her radio. She named it Charlotte and would Becca over the last few years but were unable to. Wish we had. Enjoy being with your Father and Savior.
