With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved brother, Reginald D. Lester, born August 2, 1961, and called home on March 9, 2025.

Redd, as we affectionately called him, was a man who lived life on his own terms. He was loving, kind, and, at times, a little stubborn—but that’s what made him who he was. He spoke his mind without hesitation, never afraid to be himself, and never concerned with what others thought.

He was always there for his family when they needed him, full of wisdom, laughter, and an undeniable presence. Redd was never one to be quiet—he always had something to say, and he lived life without regrets. One of his favorite sayings was, “I’m gonna do me, and I don’t care who don’t like it—nobody can stop me.” And that’s exactly how he lived.

Today, we mourn the first of ten siblings to leave our nest. Redd, our oldest, you will be truly missed. May you rest in eternal peace.
