Born in: Columbus, Georgia
Resided in: Atlanta, Georgia

Renee Dean LeClair, 55, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away Sunday morning January 23rd, peacefully at her home alongside her family. Renee was born in Columbus, Georgia, on May 29th, 1966, and was raised in Stone Mountain Georgia. She attended Stone Mountain High School, followed by Georgia College and State University. After college she worked at the American Cancer Society for 10 years before switching roles to owner and manager of Family Medical Center. For the last few years, she found great fulfillment and made many friendships working at the law office of Speed, Seta, Martin, Trivett & Stubley.

Outside of work, Renee was a ray of sunshine that brightened everyone’s day. Renee lived large but loved even larger. She was a proud and loving mother who did anything to support her children. She always looked at life with a “glass half-full” perspective, finding the positives in any situation. She knew how to fill a room with laughter and loved spending quality time with her family and friends. Renee’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceeds the quantity of time that she stayed here.

She is preceded in death by her father Emmitt O’Neal Dean. She is survived by her mother, Lula Crawford, her brother, Neal Dean, and her sons, Brandon and Austin LeClair.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held on the 4th of February at Wages and Sons Funeral home in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The family will begin receiving family and friends at 12:00pm followed by a service at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital Research Fund.
