Reverend Loyal Henry Clay, Age 89, of McDonough, passed on Friday, January 15, 2021. He was born in Stone Mountain, GA, on Saturday, December 26, 1931.

He was the son of the late Reverend Joseph Franklin and Eunice Ellis Clay. Reverend Clay proudly served his country in the US Army. He furthered his career as a self-employed carpenter and taxidermist. He pastored several churches in the area, which includes, Massadonia, Oak Grove, Midway, Fork Creek, Almon and Pleasant Hill Baptist Churches.

Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Evelyn Worthey Clay, McDonough, GA; daughter Vicki (David) Farmer, Jackson, GA; son, Keith (Teresa) Clay, Jackson, GA; son, Kelly (Celina) Clay, Locust Grove, GA; 7 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker, GA, with Pastor Tim Royster officiating.
