Bryan Scott Ritzert, 27, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away the morning of September 2, 2013. Bryan was born on May 6, 1986 in Lawrenceville, GA, the son of Bryan Joseph Ritzert and Theresa Marie Mauragas. Bryan enjoyed spending his time outdoors fishing, hiking, and exploring nature. He prided himself in his ability to make others laugh and smile. Bryan also took pride in his work. He spent 10 years working side-by-side with his family at his father's business; Advanced Furniture Services where he was an esteemed builder and installer. He was an admirable step-son to Teresa Ritzert and Jim Mauragas. He was a protective brother to Nychole Thielbar, Amanda Shook, Paul Shook, Amber Carmichael, Joseph Ritzert, Lacie Ritzert, and Jacqueline Mauragas. He was an entertaining brother-in-law to Adam Thielbar, Denay Shook, and Corey Carmichael. He also leaves behind nephew Payton Mays, niece Audrey Shook, and nephew Copeland Carmichael who is on-the-way. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM on Friday, September 6, at Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lawrenceville Co –Op Ministries at PO Box 1328 Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wagesandsons.com.

  5. I think I had a moment of shock when I first heard the news, couldn’t believe that it was real. I wanted to let you all know how much I loved Brain, he was like a brother to me. I remember everything we did together as kids and he was one of my greatest friends when I was sick and had cancer. I really wish I could be there to wish him farewell and he will always be in my prayers and I hope to see him again one day in heaven. Again, I’m so sorry for your lose. God bless you all! RIP Brian! You will be forever missed!
