  1. CandleImageBig Al was one of the bright spots for me at Dominos back in 2002/2003. I cannot tell you how many laughs we had at that place over crazy customers or the crazy situations going on around the store. He was a one of a kind and his sense of humor was right in line with mine. There was a two word phrase that forever bound us and was the catalyst for many laughs. Excuse Me?! This was born out of a person who was looking in my car one day, not a casual walk by look but a stop and stare. I saw this from the counter and power walked out to the parking lot. Big Al had just pulled in and heard me yell at the guy, “Excuse Me?!” Which was followed by a very passionate discussion about why he shouldn’t be looking in my car. Big Al watched in curious amusement. When I walked back in the store, he did his cash drop, came back around the corner, and without missing a beat, said “Excuse Me?!” It was so funny. Big Al had an amazing influence on my life, many of the things I learned just by listening and watching, I still take with me. He was an amazing man and will be missed by anyone lucky enough to call him a friend.

  2. CandleImageUncle Alan was the life of every party. It never took long for his infectious laughter to fill any room and have everyone in good spirits. He was a jokester for sure but he loved his family immensely and he will be greatly missed. Even though I hadn’t seen him in a little while, I can still hear his silly jokes and him quickly laughing at them himself. You had to laugh even if you didn’t think it was funny because of that laugh! We were a close knit family for years and did so much together and, even though those times have passed, the cherished memories of those times will never fade. Rest assured he’s making the folks in Heaven laugh today and I hope the ones who loved him the most will find some comfort in that thought. Send special prayers for his sweet and devoted daughter, Charlene, who surely feels his loss most of all. God Bless You, sweet girl!
I leave you with this…. from Alan himself. “Why were the three wise men always so hot? Because they came from afar.” I know, I know but I had to do it.
