Busta passed away peacefully the afternoon of March 9th, after a gradual decline in his health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family during the last days of his life. Busta was born in Sardis, Georgia but has been a Floridian since 1956. Busta received his education through the Miami Dade County Public School System and attended college at Florida Memorial Community College. On November 9, 2012, Busta, and his wife Linda moved to beautiful Stone Mountain, Georgia where he lived the remainder of his life. Busta was preceded in death by his granddaughter Brittany, father Robert, brother Eugene and sister Jessie. Busta was truly a loving husband, father and grandfather. He leaves to cherish in his memory his wife of 46 years Linda, four sons Charles, Eric, Terine and Leon; six daughters, Sandra (Wilfred), Elizabeth (Donald), Candace (Bear), Stephanie (Eli), Tiffany (Jermaine) and Danielle; and thirty-two grandchildren: Katrina, Tony (Sierra), Stacey, Diasha, Donald Jr., Sherri, Damion, Eli Jr., Devin, Eric, Darius, Dorrian, Wilfred Jr., Shanaya, Lamaria, Lamarcus, Sean, Jeremy, Lennis, Selebrity, Serenity, Santrell, Kendra, Jeremiah, Mikah, Samya, Jousha, Drequan, Angel, Nicholas, Aleysia, Serenity and twenty-three great grandchildren: Kyra, Travis, LaKira, Tiana, Nekyra, Tony Jr., Marley, Bailey, Quaniyah, Faith, Amira, Andrew, Ambria, Alijah, Da'Liylah, Da'Kota, Ayanna, Lavari, Emma, Ida, Devin, Aaliyah and Paris. Busta is also survived by his mother Mary Knights, brothers Leroy, Charles, Rodney, Uylessie and sisters Daisy, Ola and Doretha; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
